Rollercoaster Summer

Man, I have neglected my New Year’s resolution for 3 posts a month. I haven’t officially posted since May and there isn’t an excuse!

So, here’s a personal update…

Things at eBay are as interesting as ever despite what some may say. Things on the home front have been truly disrupted, some really good and some really bad. Life has gotten interesting to say the least.

I found a house in Santa Clara to rent. Beautiful place and an amazing kitchen (GE Monogram appliances are amazing) for cooking almost any size meal.

Just as fast as I moved in I decided to start looking for a place in the city. I have found myself there every weekend and started to wonder what the hell I was doing living in Santa Clara?

A few reasons…it’s safe, peaceful and the rents are cheaper. If I had the means I would have a place in the city and in the south bay.

I have become attached to Hayes Valley for many reasons, but SOMA and Noe Valley are also prospects.

I am currently sitting in Ritual Roasters on Valencia. Jeffrey McManus turned me on too the amazing coffee and free wifi…I’m hooked!

Inspired by my favorite GPM Julie Cheng I have been conditioning and training for a marathon. The hills in the city are the best. This also means I have been hitting the gym about 5 days a week. This has raised my energy level and helped my overall mood. The conditioning also contributed to a recent climb in Yosemite.
