After a few months of reading TechCrunch.com I started wondering about the traffic to these new start-ups. We all have heard about Yahoo, Apple, AOL and Google jumping into the Video (TV Shows, Movies, Personal Vids) but is there a smaller brand out there gaining popularity?
Well there is. YouTube.com is one of those smaller brands. The trend is towering.
Static is still as popular as it once was, but there is another growing community out there…the community in motion. Flickr’s traffic continues to grow with it’s amazing success and with the help of a recent aquisition from Yahoo.

I think there will be other small players that become popular also. I’ve definitely noticed the trend of sharing video content growing over the past few months. Besides youtube.com I think there will be various video podcast aggregators and tools/portals like fireant.tv, participatoryculture.org, etc, that start to see increased traffic.
